Irrigation
Consulting, Inc. (ICI) is a professional services firm providing
independent irrigation design and consulting services through offices
located in Pepperell, Massachusetts and Huntersville, North Carolina. ICI
is a National company, working with customers throughout the United
States, Canada and Internationally. ICI was founded in 1988 under
the business name Eastern Irrigation Consultants, operating offices in
both Massachusetts and the Washington, D.C. area, later changing it’s
name in 1990. In 1992, the two current principals of ICI joined forces to
expand into different markets and offer a wider array of services. In
April of 1997, the southeast office was opened in the Charlotte area to
better serve our customers and the growing irrigation design market.
Since
our founding, ICI has been dedicated to the proper design of irrigation
systems and their related components, with water conservation and energy
efficiency as focal points. We have earned a reputation among our
clients and professional colleagues for excellence in design, attention to
detail and for innovative solutions to complex problems. Our
practice is built on a foundation of long-term client relationships.
It has grown primarily through repeat business and client referrals in
both the public and private golf sectors.
The
most important philosophy of the ICI design team is a strong commitment to
the independence of our firm. As an independent design consultant,
we have no ties to any one product manufacturer, distributor or
contractor. The goal of every project is to design the best system
possible with the allowable budget, oversee the installation to ensure
contractor quality, provide state of the art, GPS accurate record drawings
and to protect our Clients and their investment.
ICI
maintains a full command of technical issues affecting our projects.
We utilize tools such as computer hydraulic modeling for more cost
effective, longer lasting systems. Our designers stay in touch with the
industry through training, certification and trade events to maintain the
knowledge that supports our work and protects our customers. Our staff
